Apart from providing training and a good time for our student members, our services extend to business life, government branches and miscellaneous other organizations that want to reap the benefits of our workshops.

Debating is a perfect way of practising public speaking; argumentation and analyzing another person's speech. Such skills are important in every walk of life. Debating helps people be clearer in their day-to-day communication, be understood by listeners better and to be sharper in the heat of discussion: when you need it the most.

The EDS offers workshops to schools, governments, non-profit organizations and companies in both English and Dutch. We can offer workshops to improve presentation, argumentation, analytical skills and communication. We can provide a workshops adjusted to your needs, whether that entails a school preparing for a debating tournament or to improve the argumentation of your employees: EDS will have experienced trainers giving a customer-tailored workshop for all occassions.

Moreover, we are perfectly capable of delivering speakers to lead your discussion without giving a training. If your discussion or meeting needs to be lead or hosted by an experienced and discrete communication expert, we would be more than happy to help you out.

Trainers

Our members include the absolute best Dutch debaters. We participate at the highest level of Parliamentary Debating, which allows for us to utilize the knowledge and experience of our seasoned debaters when they're sent out to give a workshop. The society's debate nights give perfect testing ground for new training ideas, allowing us to offer a wide variety of workshops proven to be effective.
